Weak and Peeling Nails
Go!Spa carries a complete line of Nail Envy products that are specially formulated for various nail conditions such as weak, peeling, dry and brittle nails. For instance, some people have thick, long nails that crack. Others may have short, soft nails that peel.
Our Go!Spa Pro's are trained to diagnose and prescribe the appropriate treatment plan for each condition. In addition, following the advice of your Go!Spa Pro and using the product as prescribed will insure you obtain your desired results.

Dry vs. Wet Manicures
If you are really serious about keeping polish on longer, you might want to try a DRY Go!Spa Manicure vs. a WET Go!Spa Manicure (includes soaking). When nails are soaked, they swell and expand at the free edge. This means that as the nail dries, during and after your manicure, it will contract and shrink back. If you polish natural nails after a soak, the likelihood of them cracking and peeling sooner are greater than if you do a DRY manicure. Keeping the nail dry throughout the entire manicure insures longer lasting chip free results.
However, for people that still enjoy the soak or who have extremely thick cuticles, they may need the benefits of a cuticle softner in addition to the soaking step in order to soften the cuticle for removal. Either way, wet or dry, your Go!Spa Pro will also be using a de-hydrator to remove any natural oil on the nail before polishing. If your nail bed is not properly cleaned of all oils, your polish will definitely peel before it even chips.
Just keep in mind that excessive washing of the hands or use of baby wipes or any type of anti-bacterial wipe negatively impacts the life of your manicure as does subjecting your hands and nails to harsh working or weather conditions.
